The Finnish Energy Club is an association founded in 2010 by Finnish energy industry companies. The Club was established to promote practical cooperation between Finland and Russia in energy efficiency and renewable energy sectors and to realise the aims of a Memorandum of Understanding between Ministry of Employment and the Economy of Finland and Russian Ministry of Energy for cooperation in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.

In spring 2015 the Club decided to expand its activity area also outside Russian Federation.

In June 2017, China District heating association and Finland energy club signed the strategic cooperation agreement on heating energy technology and projects between China District heating association and Finland energy club. The two sides will conduct cooperation in project development (pilot projects), technical experience exchange, technical consultation, visit exchange, training and learning.
